The Augustana Teaching Museum of Art will hold a closing reception of its final exhibition of the year, the reception will precede the Class of 2018 graduation ceremony
The Augustana Teaching Museum of Art is opening its final show of the 2017-2018 academic year. The exhibition, entitled 2018 Senior Show, will feature the Senior Inquiry projects of the Class of 2018 Graphic Design and Studio Art majors. The exhibition opens April 20th and runs until May 12th, with Artist Talks taking place on May 2nd from 10:45 – 11:45 and a closing reception May 20th, from 11:45 am – 1:00 pm. All events will be held at the museum’s Centennial Hall Galleries. These events and the exhibition are free and open to the public.
If you are interested in visiting the exhibition, the museum is open from noon until 4pm on Fridays and Saturdays or by appointment. The museum is located at 3703 7th Ave. in Rock Island, just inside of Centennial Hall.
